Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Gardena, CA is seeking maintenance personnel to perform basic PM on CNC equipment, fans, filters, and related shop machinery. The role requires reading, writing English and basic shop math, with 3–6 years of mechanical experience.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write English.
Introductory competence in shop math.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Basic blueprint reading.
Thorough knowledge of machinery, its design, uses, repairs and maintenance.
Strong analytical abilities with on‑the‑job training.

Responsibilities

Work safely under PPE and safety procedures.
Perform repairs, modifications and/or improvements on machinery as instructed on work orders, following standard operating and safety procedures.
Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
