Prudential Overall Supply, with 90 years of experience in the uniform and textile garment rental industries, is seeking an entry-level Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. We are looking for an energetic, goal-driven individual eager to be part of a great team. This full-time position is not seasonal.

Qualifications

• Some experience repairing industrial processing equipment in industrial or cleanroom environments; military experience is strongly considered.
• Proficient in the use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, electrical wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other diagrams.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in task and goal assignment is preferred.
• Experience with boiler operation, wastewater processing, HVAC systems, and general facility repairs.
• Experience operating or maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, and reverse osmosis water treatment equipment is a plus.
• Military candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial equipment and water systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from Plant Management.
• Conduct carpentry, painting, custodial, and general facility maintenance.
• Participate in safety committees to promote safe practices.
• Follow instructions and complete tasks timely and safely.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with colleagues.
• Work off-shift hours or weekends for projects and overhauls.
• Perform other duties as required.
