We are looking to expand our Maintenance team! The Maintenance Technician's role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment using safe problem-solving techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain all mechanical aspects of plant and yard equipment
• Communicate with supervisor about parts inventories and supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor and auger systems, power tools, overhead cranes, welding and fabrication, SMAW, GMAW, plasma torch, oxy/acetylene cutting, and vehicle repair/operation (yard tractors, forklifts, aerial lifts, skid steers, wheel loaders)
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LO/TO), hot work permit, and confined space procedures
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklifts, bobcats, aerial lifts, cranes, yard tractors)
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues
• Ability to read parts diagrams and assemble/disassemble equipment
• Work independently and follow directions
• Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency
• Computer skills, experience with CMMS/IFS

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-5 years' experience in heavy industrial maintenance
• Technical school degree (2-year)

Physical Requirements:

• Move a minimum of 50 lbs., walk, climb, bend, reach, use hand tools forcefully, vocalize

Work Environment:

• Outdoor conditions, dirt/dust, noise, vibrations, varying light, stairs, narrow walkways
