Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II in Sacramento, CA to troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide range of manufacturing equipment with a focus on utilities. The role operates on a 2nd shift (1:30PM - 10PM) Sunday-Thursday, with overtime possible.

• Ability to frequently walk, kneel, squat, climb, bend, stoop, and twist.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
• Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.
• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
• Wire moderately complex control circuits.
• Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and centerlining.
• Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.
• Ability to quickly learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.
• Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
• Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
• Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.
• Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix).
• Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.

Job Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the utilities side of maintenance.

Shift: 2nd; 1:30PM - 10PM - Sunday-Thursday *Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Total Rewards

• Compensation: Pay starting at $39.93 - $44.65per hour.
• Shift Premium $0.35
• Benefits, subject to eligibility, and collective bargaining agreements
