Keurig Dr Pepper in Irving, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic III / Sr Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex mechanical and electrical systems in our manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes electrical maintenance, with opportunities to work on motors, conveyors, pumps, boilers, and PLC-controlled equipment.

The 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 8:00 PM–4:30 AM) requires flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, with competitive pay and benefits

Qualifications

• 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years troubleshooting 3-phase (480V) circuits, motor starters and controls.
• Lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly; stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems.
• Wire moderately complex control circuits.
• Fabricate, install piping, weld metals, and machine parts for repairs.
• Identify issues and complete repairs with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and program minor Allen Bradley PLC changes.
• Troubleshoot 3ph 480V motors and VFDs and perform replacements or programming.

Job Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic III / Sr Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical / electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the electrical side of maintenance.

Shift & Schedule: This is a full-time position on our 3rd Shift : Sun - Thur 8PM-4:30PM. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Position Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
• Wire moderately complex control circuits.
• Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.
• Weld various types of metals.
• Machine most metals, plastics, and composites.
• Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
• Complete size changeovers, make adjustments, and trouble shoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
• Identify problems and completes repairs, with minimal downtime or supervision.
• Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix.
• Troubleshoot 3ph 480v motors and VFDs including replacementand / orprogramming

Total Rewards

• Compensation: Pay starting at $41.64 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $43.79 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
