Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Aspers, PA to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve process and packaging equipment, maximizing production while upholding safety and quality.

The role requires 2+ years of direct maintenance experience, strong mechanical/electrical skills, ability to read prints and schematics, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will work on nights, 12-hour shifts, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' direct maintenance experience maintaining, troubleshooting, & repairing mechanical & electrical systems.
• Demonstrated mechanical/electrical skills.
• Ability to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowchart, block diagram, and schematics.
• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
• Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.
• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
• Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and center lining.
• Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.
• Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
• Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
• Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.
• Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.

Shift & Schedule

This is a full time position on Nights working our 12 hr shift schedule working on a 2-2-3 rotation. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required. Training will be on 8 hour days/5 days a week schedule.

Shift Pattern

6:00pm - 6:00am

• Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday
• Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday

Maintenance Mechanic - Aspers, PA

The Maintenance Mechanic at Keurig Dr Pepper will be responsible for facilitation and leadership to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve process and packaging equipment, to maximize production and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in improving maintenance procedures and manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.

A Successful Candidate Has Experience With

• Troubleshooting equipment
• Working in a fast pace, high volume environment (Bonus if experience in the Food/Bev/Bottling/Medical Industries)
• Very familiar with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, TPM principles

Total Rewards

• Pay Range: $30.79 - $37.14

Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
