The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks to maintain, repair, and install machinery and equipment. Responsibilities

• 1. Performing preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• 2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues on production equipment and implementing effective solutions.
• 3. Performing various welding activities, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to repair and maintain machinery and equipment.
• 4. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• 5. Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• 6. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
• 7. Documenting and maintaining records of all maintenance and repair work.
• 8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting changes to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• 2. Proven experience in welding, equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, machinery maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• 3. Excellent mechanical knowledge to understand and work with complex machinery and equipment.
• 4. A certificate or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
• 5. Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• 6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• 7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• 8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 9. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• 10. A strong commitment to adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
