Job summary

The Hershey Company Lancaster Plant is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, service, repair and rebuild packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role requires reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with operators, electricians and engineers.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years in industrial trades, a high school diploma, ability to work any shift including nights/weekends, and SAP maintenance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in industrial, military, or owner/operator trades environment.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, repair and rebuild packaging equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot packaging lines and conveyors and support PM activities.
• Collaborate with operators, mechanics, electricians, engineers and supervisors to optimize plant operations.
