Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join the Maintenance Team supporting the paper machine. You will work with the reliability centered maintenance group to deliver preventive and corrective maintenance in a high performance setting.

You will rotate 24/7 shifts on a day and night schedule, collaborating with paper machine operations and maintenance staff to keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent; technical school or military considered.
• Computer/Data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure processes run with preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on process equipment.
• Repair malfunctioning components such as pumps, transmissions, and related parts.
• Operate equipment safely (forklifts, lifts) and read blueprints and manuals.
