  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as needed.

Aerotek is hiring a day shift Maintenance Mechanic in Milford, DE. This is a M-F schedule. Qualified candidates will have industrial maintenance experience.

Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting hydraulic equipment and other machinery used in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, in-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with production teams to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Comfort working with pneumatics and basic understanding of pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as required for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.

  • Trustworthiness and reliability in handling equipment, tools, and maintenance documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working as a maintenance technician or maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with old‑school, hands‑on manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail when inspecting equipment and documenting maintenance work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative maintenance team.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with production workers and other staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
