Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our machinery and equipment, contributing to the efficiency of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure equipment is functioning properly during operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or food manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are preferred.
