This position is responsible for maintaining all transportation equipment, including acting as the lead in the maintenance garage and performing Class 8 maintenance on diesel equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the maintenance team and oversee all Omni Technicians.
2. Perform preventive maintenance, brake work, and DOT inspections on Class 8 trucks.
3. Drive service trucks to locations and repair breakdowns.
4. Communicate maintenance needs effectively to ensure safety and compliance.
5. Enforce all safety rules.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in diesel electronic software.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• 8-10 years of Class 8 truck maintenance experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Leadership experience as a lead technician and in a supervisory role.
• Welding skills are a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
