Indiana Staffing is hiring for a long-standing client located in Brownsburg, IN! This is a direct hire opportunity with an industry-leading organization.

Schedules

• 4 days per week - 12-hour shifts
• Days 6am-6pm & Nights 6:00pm-6:00am

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve mechanical issues in the production environment promptly and efficiently.
• Complete maintenance projects, including preventive maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
• Write parts requests, complete work orders, and develop corrective work orders.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform building inspections and routine checks.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic environment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of AC/DC motors, motor control circuits, and sensors such as photoeyes.
• Knowledge of conveyance systems is a plus.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Familiarity with CMMS work order systems.
• Food manufacturing background and understanding of FDA requirements are a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capability to work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts.
• Decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of machining, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work around strong magnets.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
