Randstad USA seeks an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment, industrial machinery, and plant utilities in Hauppauge, NY. The role combines electrical and mechanical work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shift is First, 8 AM to 4 PM. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.

Formación

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiar with PM and CMMS.
• High school diploma or GED; trade certs a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Electrical & Automation: Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical systems (up to 480V), motors, VFDs, sensors, and basic PLC I/O/ladder logic using schematics and multimeters.
• Mechanical Systems: Disassemble, rebuild, and align rotating equipment, including industrial pumps, gearboxes, shafts, bearings, and belt/chain drives.
• Fluid Power: Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, valves, cylinders, regulators, and high-pressure power units.
• Fabrication & Shop Skills: Perform structural repairs and bracket modifications using MIG/stick welding, cutting torches, and standard machine shop tools.
• Preventive Maintenance & CMMS: Execute scheduled PM routines, support root-cause failure analysis, and document work orders, downtime, and parts in a CMMS.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) on multi-energy sources and adhere strictly to OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E safety standards.

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment, industrial machinery, and plant utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical systems (up to 480V), AC/DC motors, VFDs, sensors, and basic PLC I/O.
• Disassemble, rebuild, and align mechanical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and drive assemblies.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, valves, cylinders, and regulators.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) routines and document work orders in a CMMS.
• Adhere strictly to plant safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and NFPA 70E.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (both electrical and mechanical).
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and fluid diagrams.
• Skilled with digital multimeters, hand/power tools, and precision measurement equipment.
• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or trade certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Printing machine experience (commercial presses, flexo, converting, or web handling) is a major plus.
• English/Spanish are helpful.
