RiverWoods Exeter is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Exeter, NH. The role supports an award-winning retirement community, focusing on building maintenance and resident safety.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and at least one year of field experience with tools and basic maintenance. HVAC/plumbing/drywall skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools.
• Minimum of one year experience in building maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing, floor care, drywall, construction, and/or AV experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of building maintenance, repairs and services.
• Complete work orders and project work as part of a high-performing team.
• Assist in fire drills and emergency response procedures to keep residents safe.
• Respond to medical alert calls (no first aid necessary).
• Participate in on-call rotation with other staff.

Maintenance Mechanics have a unique opportunity to build connections and impact resident's days every shift they work. This is a Monday - Friday role working 7:30am - 4:00pm with rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Mechanics perform a wide variety of building maintenance, repairs and services. Joining an existing high-performing team of mechanics and specialists, the right candidate will be a generalist with a broad range of skills who can work as part of a team and solo. They will be a problem-solver who looks forward to developing relationships with our residents and the rest of the team at RiverWoods

In Addition To Completing Work Orders And Project Work, Responsibilities For The Position Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following:

• Assist in fire drills and emergency response procedures to keep our residents safe
