Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a maintenance technician for a full-time night shift in Downey, CA. You will perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, install and overhaul equipment, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years of related experience; electrical or vocational certification is preferred. Union benefits and a comprehensive package accompany this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including disassembly and calibration.

• Cut and weld metal to repair parts and fabricate new components as needed.
• Record repairs, parts used, and order new materials as required.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay Rate: $40.74

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to include disassembly, reassembly, and calibration
• Administer a wide variety of methods, procedures, and techniques to lay out, install, overhaul and maintain various types of machines encompassing mechanical and electrical systems
• Clean and lubricate equipment and machinery and adjust and examine parts for defects in the warehouse
• Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, handle boiler blow downs, and record readings of critical operating parameters as the technician
• Records repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and orders or requisitions new parts and materials
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
