Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Downey, CA seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time night shift (Tue–Sat, 9pm). You troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs and change-overs, set up lines, and document work in the CMMS, including ASRS tasks where applicable.

Education: High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years experience; electrical or vocational certification preferred. Benefits include union, medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, and vacation.

Responsibilities

• Use CMMS for work orders and manage ASRS tasks where applicable.
• Ensure safety needs are prioritized in operations and work execution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
• As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts
• The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system
• Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
