Job Opportunity: Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will support production efficiency as part of the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Job Title:

Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Range:

$33.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, lead, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
2. Perform reactive maintenance on production lines, repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components to recover from equipment failures.
3. Conduct machine tear down, repair, and assembly, working on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motors.
4. Communicate key information effectively to peers, team members, and factory leadership during handoffs.
5. Support equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades, coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Experience in bottling or food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills to ensure equipment functionality.
• Ability to operate a forklift as needed.
• Experience working independently and in team environments.
