Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Southern New Hampshire to join our manufacturing team. You will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial machinery and equipment, reading schematics and ensuring safety compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of experience, and basic electrical knowledge. Expect a 2 PM – 12:30 PM shift with potential overtime and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment (conveyors, packaging, production machinery, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical systems).
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions; minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Install and assemble new equipment as needed.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities (CMMS).
• Adhere to safety regulations and work both independently and with the team.

Job description

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Southern NH. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with facility safety standards.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to maximize facility uptime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment, including but not limited to:
• Conveyor systems
• Packaging equipment
• Production machinery
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Electrical systems (basic troubleshooting)
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize production downtime.
• Install and assemble new equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. (CMMS Program)
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• May be required to work overtime or on weekends as needed or get called back in.
• OWN HAND TOOLS IS NICE TO HAVE!

The essential functions of this role include:
