ESG Operations, an Inframark Company, is hiring Maintenance Mechanics in Training. You would work as a field-based maintenance technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing wastewater equipment, including engines, pumps, and motors within Albany, GA. We are looking for candidates with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude to join our team.

Schedule

M-F 7-3:30 with some OT and rotating on-call schedule

Duties and Responsibilities

• Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts
• Examine parts for imperfections and measure for changes in dimensions
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts
• Install functional and structural parts in devices
• Lubricate, clean, and test devices
• Order parts and equipment as needed
• Repair electrical equipment
• Attend safety training and adhere to safety policies
• Collaborate harmoniously with team and adhere to ESG policies

Qualifications

Prefer three months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, or vocational training. Valid driver’s license and meeting driving standards required.

Knowledge of

• Problem solving, analyzing information, developing solutions
• Computerized maintenance management software used by ESG
