Position Title: Terminal Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Bristol, PA

Signing Bonus: $4,000 ($2,000 paid 3 months after hire, $2,000 paid after 1 year of continuous employment). Must be rated as at least an "A" or "B" Mechanic by Management.

Job Overview: As a Silvi Materials Terminal Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform tasks related to installation, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of production equipment. You should demonstrate initiative, responsibility, good interpersonal skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure operation of machinery by completing PM requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyor belts, and mixer components.
• Remove defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Inspect parts and measure to determine dimensional changes.
• Adjust devices and control instruments using hand tools and levels.
• Maintain technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and vendor collaboration.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Coordinate and report downtime, communicate equipment status to management, and perform general labor tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain TWIC.
• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Preferred: experience in steel fabrication, welding, electrical panels, and machinery, especially in maritime or port industries.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Willingness to work extra hours when necessary.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, MSHA).

Physical Demands:

• Lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Use hands for grasping, moving, or assembling objects.
• Stand for long periods, kneel, stoop, crawl, and perform physical tasks.
• Recognize sounds, see details, and distinguish colors.
