Job summary

Sibelco is seeking a Manager Maintenance at our Wilson, NC plant to lead the maintenance team and drive TPM across our glass processing network. You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with plant leadership to maximize uptime.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, Lean/Six Sigma background, and hands-on expertise with SAP/CMMS to manage assets and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
8-10+ years of maintenance experience including 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
Lean Manufacturing experience or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
480vAC/3/60 3ph electrical troubleshooting
Experience with TPM maintenance program

Responsibilities

Lead plant maintenance team to maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment.
Enforce safe practices within the department and train staff on safety.
Manage CMMS (SAP) for asset tracking, life expectancy, and R&M budget.
Oversee vendor relationships and spare parts inventory; manage stocking levels.
Perform hands-on maintenance troubleshooting and basic electrical repairs.
Coach and develop maintenance personnel and assist in hiring.
Lead root-cause analysis (8D) for quality, yield, and uptime issues.
