Job summary

Calor is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the site and a team of mechanical and electrical technicians at Coryton. You will drive safety-first operations, oversee contractors, and manage maintenance planning and the SAP/FSM system to ensure reliable, compliant performance.

You will report on process safety KPIs, control the maintenance budget, and support key engineering projects while upholding high safety standards across a COMAH/high-hazard site.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License
• Strong leadership to develop and motivate the team
• Experience in managing equipment compliance
• NVQ Level 3 or HNC in Engineering (Mechanical)
• Experience on COMAH or high-hazard sites is desirable
• Possess NEBOSH or IOSH Safety Qualification and safety legislation knowledge
• Proficient maintenance systems with planned preventative maintenance
• Familiarity with hazardous area regulations and control systems

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first operation and report Process Safety KPIs monthly
• Supervise Maintenance Team and contractors ensuring safe work
• Plan day-to-day site maintenance including safety-critical equipment
• Manage SAP/FSM maintenance scheduling and keep up-to-date
• Control department budget and oversee purchasing orders
• Support Engineering projects and ensure modifications are integrated
• Participate in audits and incident management with technical guidance
• Support Emergency Response and on-call duties within 60 minutes travel time
