Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Manager for The Dawson in Tampa, FL. The role leads a maintenance team at a high-complexity multi-unit residential property, overseeing preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry areas.

You will coordinate with contractors, manage bids, ensure safety, and drive quality service while delivering on-time repairs and cost-conscious operations.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in commercial or multi-unit properties.
• Strong English communication in writing and speech.
• Computer and smartphone literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises/hires/trains a maintenance team for a high-complexity multi-unit property.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and housekeeping tasks.
• Oversees preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Interfaces with contractors and vendors; secures bids per process.
• Diagnoses issues and directs repairs for HVAC and other systems.
• Documents performance, safety, and compliance; enforces standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
