Vivmark Residential, formed by the merger of AvalonBay Communities and Equity Residential, seeks a Maintenance Manager in Durham, NC. You will lead maintenance operations across assigned communities, overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major systems to deliver exceptional living experiences.

The role requires 3–5 years in apartment maintenance, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage a team and respond to on-call needs within one hour.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of apartment maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances.
• EPA Type I/II Certification, CPO certification preferred.
• 2+ years of people management experience preferred.
• On-call ability within 1 hour when dispatched.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations for one or more communities.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and vendor coordination.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members.
