Fairstead is a purpose-driven real estate firm focused on affordable housing across the country. The Maintenance position oversees other maintenance staff, leads special projects, and performs skilled repairs, requiring knowledge of safety practices and trade proficiency.

The role can require overtime for emergencies. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in property maintenance, familiarity with tools and equipment, and experience with property management software such as Yardi or RealPage.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in property maintenance.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge and experience using a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Being knowledgeable in Yardi Software and Realpage a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of other maintenance employees.
• Taking a leadership position on special projects.
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Work independently on routine projects and receive assistance for more complex projects.
• Occasional need to work overtime for special projects or emergencies.
