Job summary

Fairstead is a purpose-driven real estate firm focused on affordable housing across the country. The Service Manager will supervise maintenance staff and oversee repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety across Fairstead properties.

The role requires hands-on trade skills, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to manage projects and collaborate with other teams. A signing bonus is offered and comprehensive benefits accompany a generous PTO and retirement

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in property maintenance.
• Proficient in building and mechanical trades.
• Knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using a variety of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff.
• Lead special projects.
• Perform skilled maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Work independently on routine projects and assist on complex projects.
• Occasionally work overtime for emergencies.
