TPI Composites in Newton, IA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the plant's maintenance, facilities, and engineering activities. You will ensure equipment reliability, safety, and uptime while guiding maintenance teams and coordinating with operations to meet production goals.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 8+ years of progressive maintenance leadership in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years of progressive maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
Strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
Proven success driving reliability and performance through preventive/predictive maintenance, RCA, and continuous improvement.
Experience managing maintenance operations and resources: budgets, capital projects, vendor/contractor management.
Strong business, project management, and organizational skills; data-driven decisions and operations partnership.
Experience with manufacturing technologies and systems: PLCs, robotics, CMMS, automation.
Continuous improvement mindset with Lean/Six Sigma/TPM or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

Leads all plant maintenance, facilities, and engineering-related activities.
Ensures equipment reliability and maximizes production uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Partners with operations and plant leadership to resolve equipment issues and support production objectives.
Manages maintenance budgets, contractors, facility improvements, and capital projects.
Drives continuous improvement by identifying root causes of equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
Develops and leads maintenance teams through hiring, coaching, training, and performance management.
Maintains compliance with safety regulations and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture.
