Job summary

Epta Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the site maintenance function, balancing reactive and proactive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize costs. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on supervision of the maintenance team.

You'll drive preventative maintenance, mentor technicians, and manage budgets while aligning with safety and quality standards across facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in the role or similar: > 5 years.
• Management experience with similar dimensions.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor maintenance supervisors and technicians; assign tasks and resolve escalations.
• Maximize equipment performance and reduce downtime due to failures.
• Develop a Preventative Maintenance Plan and ensure timely execution.
• Support autonomous maintenance by training operators on first line tasks.
• Drive maintenance work management and track backlogs and schedules.
• Ensure high levels of production asset availability and quick fault response.
• Meet maintenance KPI targets and ensure understanding of metrics.
• Manage calibration/maintenance of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support.
