Job summary
Johnson Matthey in Devon, PA seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the site’s maintenance function, driving safety, reliability, and cost efficiency at the Devon Clean Air manufacturing facility. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on maintenance planning, and a drive for continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.
You will oversee preventive/predictive maintenance, spare parts inventories, and capital project support, while ensuring quality system compliance and safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5+ years in a supervisory or management role in maintenance.
- Knowledge of facility equipment and utilities (HVAC, chillers, electrical, etc.).
- CMMS experience; strong PM and reliability program experience.
- Experience with robotics, automated systems and PLCs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance department with focus on safety, operating costs, and support for manufacturing and facilities.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance, planning and spare parts inventories to meet KPIs.
- Identify improvements in maintenance programs, staffing, and equipment reliability.
- Support quality systems and conduct root-cause investigations as needed.
- Collaborate with EHS and Project Engineering on capital projects and regulatory compliance.
