Job summary

Burkentine is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs across our properties. You will lead on-call rotations and coordinate with the team to resolve maintenance issues promptly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or trades background, HVAC cert (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and strong communication skills. A reliable ride to respond to emergencies and a service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance or trades education.
• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Availability for on-call emergencies at the property.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs frequently and 10–20 lbs constantly.
• Reliable transportation to respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Service mindset and willingness to learn.
