Job summary

The Judge Group seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee heavy mobile equipment maintenance in a demanding industrial environment. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safety, uptime, and reliability while developing a skilled maintenance team and driving operational excellence.

The successful candidate will manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, coordinate with operations to maximize availability, and lead capital projects with a focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance management experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Technical degree or related training in diesel, electrical, hydraulic or mechanical fields.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning software.
Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics.
Coordinate maintenance activities with operations to maximize equipment availability.
Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement reliability improvements.
Oversee maintenance budgets, inventory, and capital projects.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
