Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance staff across its community. You will oversee interior and exterior repairs, groundskeeping, safety, and the upkeep of amenities to ensure a high-quality living environment.

The role requires supervising maintenance associates, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining compliance manuals. Strong diagnostic skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry are essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise maintenance staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain community grounds; ensure safe, attractive environment for residents.
• Inspect facilities; coordinate repairs; manage vendor services as needed.
• Maintain Community Compliance Manual; respond to repair requests from residents and staff.
• Prepare apartments for new residents; ensure proper trash removal and safe storage of maintenance items.
• Attend required meetings and training; follow safety/OSHA requirements.
