Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance staff, oversee interior and exterior work, and ensure safety and upkeep across our communities.

The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, supervisory capability, and strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors and residents. You will inspect grounds, manage repairs, and maintain compliance manuals while ensuring timely response to resident requests and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance staff in multi-family housing.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and basic mechanical systems.
• Must have EPA 608 Type I & II and CPO certification.
• Proficient with computer tools and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise maintenance staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Keep community grounds safe, attractive and in good repair for residents.
• Inspect grounds and coordinate outdoor services with approved vendors.
• Maintain the Community Compliance Manual and respond to repair requests.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and ensure proper trash removal.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance and attend meetings.
