Job summary

Masis Professional Group is seeking a skilled maintenance leader to oversee the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of facilities and production equipment in our Chicago-area operations.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude and the ability to collaborate with production and engineering teams on automation and process improvements to ensure optimal performance and quality. On-site position with budgetary responsibility.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in maintenance leadership within manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Hands-on mechanical/technical aptitude for troubleshooting.
• Experience with injection molding environments and related equipment.
• Familiarity with tool-room and machining equipment including CNC, EDM, lathe and grinders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities and production equipment.
• Assess equipment needs, evaluate vendors, and recommend new equipment.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and spare parts inventory.
• Design and maintain robotic end-of-arm tooling and production tooling as needed.
• Collaborate with production and engineering on automation, testing systems, and process improvements.
• Manage maintenance budgets and resources; support cross-functional quality and production initiatives.
