Job summary

HiFyve is seeking a Maintenance Manager at its Sheboygan County facility to lead the full maintenance department. You will report to the Plant Manager and supervise a team of technicians and a supervisor, driving reliability and uptime across building and equipment.

You will champion preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and partner with other departments to ensure safety, GMP compliance, and regulatory adherence in a fast-paced food-grade environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of industrial maintenance management experience in food-grade manufacturing.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient with computer software applications.
• Willing to be on-call outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and manage preventive, installation, inspection and diagnostics.
• Schedule and supervise building, grounds and equipment maintenance incl. electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders.
• Develop work order program and prioritize tasks; supervise non-emergency projects.
• Implement and monitor an accurate preventive maintenance program.
• Provide weekly project and budget updates to Plant Manager and manage expenses.
• Set staffing schedules and ensure coverage during absences.
• Partner with other departments on productivity, safety and compliance.
• Recruit, train and lead maintenance staff in a team-based environment.
• Ensure safety, food safety, GMP compliance and regulatory adherence.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Sheboygan County | Full-time, direct hire

Schedule: Day shift, with on-call support for issues outside normal hours

Pay: $110,000 to $120,000 base salary

10% BONUS ELIGIBLE

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A food manufacturer is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead the full maintenance department at its WI plant. You will report to the Plant Manager and lead a team of 1 maintenance supervisor, 1 salaried automation and controls technician and 6 maintenance technicians. This is a chance to join at an important point in the site’s growth and have a direct impact on what comes next.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead the maintenance team and manage all building and equipment maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, installation, inspection and diagnostics
• Schedule, supervise and perform building, grounds and equipment maintenance, including structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC work
• Maintain and organize spare parts inventory and coordinate parts and supply orders
• Develop a work order program, prioritize maintenance tasks and supervise contractors on non-emergency projects
• Implement and monitor an accurate Preventive Maintenance Program
• Provide weekly project and budget updates to the Plant Manager and manage expenses to budget
• Set and communicate staffing schedules, ensuring coverage during absences
• Partner with other departments on productivity, plant safety and regulatory compliance

WHAT YOU NEED

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of industrial maintenance management experience, preferably in food grade manufacturing
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Exceptional project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of computer software applications
• Available for on-call support outside normal working hours
