Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. in Richland Center, WI seeks a Maintenance Manager to ensure reliable operation of dairy plant equipment while upholding safety and SQF compliance.

This role leads a team of planners, schedulers, supervisors, and engineers, manages budgets, and drives continuous improvement. You will mentor technical staff, optimize maintenance strategies, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, biochemical, biological, engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2+ years as a technical supervisor/leader in manufacturing; dairy, food, or beverage preferred.
• Team leadership experience in technical functions such as Maintenance Team Advisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineer, or similar position.
• Licenses/Certifications in Maintenance, Reliability, and related areas are a plus (e.g., CRL, CMRP, CMM).

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop a team of planners, schedulers, supervisors, and engineers.
• Manage maintenance budgets and optimize spare parts inventory and work processes.
• Oversee OSHA, FDA, USDA, SQF compliance and staff training.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering to prioritize tasks and minimize production disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance equipment performance and reduce waste.
