Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager in the United States to oversee all aspects of residential property maintenance. You will lead a team, manage repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, and supervise make-ready processes to ensure timely leasing.

Strong safety, OSHA/MSDS knowledge and on-call availability are required. The role emphasizes leadership, vendor management, and capital projects, with a strong focus on resident satisfaction and building safety in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 7+ years of facilities and/or residential building maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and team development.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair skills.
• Experience with safety compliance and on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model Bozzuto's core values and culture.
• Hire, develop and provide on-the-job and classroom education to techs.
• Care for residents through timely follow-up on service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances.
• Manage the make-ready and turnover process to enable leasing.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to preserve building value.
• Maintain cleanliness, grounds, snow removal and property safety.
• Lead cost-effective capital improvements and special projects.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships within budget.
• Coordinate 24/7 emergency coverage and on-call rotation.
