Job summary

Pax Properties in Moore, Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the 146-unit apartment community. This hands-on leadership role focuses on a clean, safe, well-maintained property and delivering excellent resident service.

You will manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repairs, oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate vendors, and ensure move-in readiness while controlling budgets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team.
• Coordinate daily work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee apartment turns to ensure units are move-in ready on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, flooring, and general building maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations for our apartment community in Moore, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained property while providing excellent customer service to our residents.

This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, and experienced in apartment maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and make-ready operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team.
• Coordinate daily work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee apartment turns to ensure units are move-in ready on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, flooring, and general building maintenance.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification.
• CAMT designation.
• Experience using property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or AppFolio.
