Job summary

L.V. Enterprises in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Maintenance Manager who will own maintenance across an established manufacturing operation.

You’ll lead hourly and salaried technicians, partner closely with Production, and set the direction for work that improves equipment availability and performance. You’ll drive reliability through planning, scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis, vendor partnerships, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in maintenance
• 3+ years leading a maintenance team
• Strong planning, scheduling and reliability practices
• Ability to balance production needs with long-term reliability
• Track record of coaching and building accountability with Production
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)

Job description

When a plant runs well, it’s rarely luck. It’s the result of a maintenance team that knows the equipment, plans the work, finds the real causes of failure, and refuses to accept repeat breakdowns.

I’m looking for the leader who knows how to build that team.

This Maintenance Manager role gives you ownership of maintenance at an established manufacturing operation. You’ll lead hourly and salaried talent, partner closely with Production, and set the direction for work that improves equipment availability and performance.

The opportunity:

• Make reliability a daily discipline. Strengthen planning and scheduling.
• Develop the next generation of maintenance leaders. Use equipment history and operating data to reduce unplanned downtime and make every planned outage count.
• You’ll put your expertise to work across preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, precision maintenance, vendor partnerships, and budgeting.
• You’ll also lead mechanical and controls engineering resources and work alongside the plant leadership team.

You’ll bring:

• 8+ years in maintenance and 3+ years leading a maintenance team.
• A strong grasp of maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability practices—and the ability to turn them into measurable results.
• The judgment to balance today’s production needs with the work that prevents tomorrow’s failures.
• A track record of coaching people, building accountability, and working shoulder to shoulder with Production.
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is welcome; equivalent experience will also be considered.
