Job summary

Cindavi in Thorp, Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Manager to build and lead a multi-shift maintenance organization and drive reliability improvements across the plant.

You will guide approximately 12 professionals, formalize preventive and predictive maintenance, and own CMMS, PM schedules, downtime data, and spare-parts inventory while coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain to protect production schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Experience managing and developing maintenance professionals
• Experience designing preventive maintenance programs
• CMMS familiarity
• Strong mechanical/electrical/mechatronics foundation

• Manage contractors, maintenance spend, inventory, and budgets while driving cost/performance improvements
• Strengthen safety culture with Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, contractor safety, and regulatory compliance

Job Description:

We are hiring a Maintenance Manager who wants to build, lead, and make a measurable impact.

This is more than a keep-the-machines-running role. You will lead a multishift maintenance organization, create stronger systems, and move our manufacturing operation from reactive fixes toward disciplined preventive and predictive maintenance. With significant equipment modernization planned over the next several years, you will have the opportunity to influence reliability, technology, capital projects, and the long-term direction of the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12 maintenance and facilities professionals across multiple shifts.
• Build structure around preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, equipment reliability, and long-range maintenance planning.
• Own and improve our CMMS, including work orders, PM schedules, downtime data, spare-parts inventory, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain to protect production schedules and reduce disruptions.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, equipment repair, rebuilds, commissioning, and readiness for new capital equipment.
• Manage contractors, maintenance spending, inventory investments, and departmental budgets while identifying opportunities to improve cost and performance.
• Strengthen a safety-first culture through disciplined practices, including Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, contractor safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Mechanical or Electrical Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, ideally within a five-to-seven-year range.
• Proven experience directly managing, coaching, and developing maintenance professionals.
• A builder's mindset and the ability to create systems, standards, and accountability rather than simply maintain the status quo.
• Experience designing and executing preventive maintenance programs in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Comfort with CMMS platforms, maintenance metrics, work-order systems, and modern technology.
• A strong mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, engineering, automation, or equipment-focused technical foundation.
• Experience in wood products, furniture, metal fabrication, machinery, equipment manufacturing, or another highly automated plant environment is valuable.

This onsite role in Thorp, Wisconsin offers a base salary of $130,000 to $150,000, a bonus opportunity, a comprehensive benefits package, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
