Maintenance Manager (Finance)

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL.

Job Summary:

The position has responsibility for managing a Toll Maintenance program and requires an individual knowledgeable with Tolling Maintenance programs. General requirements for the position consist of conducting Tolling activities as set forth by individual contract requirements; participation and preparation of meeting documents, presentations and scheduling updates; QA/QC of field documentation; manages and reviews field staff work documentation and performance; and ensuring all reported failure tickets under their areas of responsibility are attended to per contract requirements and within the maximum allotted time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage performance of team, contractors, engineers, and/or field staff; tracks performance, provides feedback, and motivates staff.
  • Create purchase order requisitions, manage shipping and receiving and track invoicing to clients.
  • Responsible for the overall monitoring of the toll system.
  • Coordinate with other departments to develop and implement all monitoring needs required to meet contract performance requirements.
  • Ensure all reported failure tickets under assigned area of responsibility are attended to per contract requirements and within the maximum allotted time.
  • Responsible for procurement of all equipment/spares needed for the program.
  • Responsible for equipment inventory and tracking of parts (e.g. installed, spares, RMA).
  • Develop and update Maintenance plan for program.
  • Support in planning and coordinating department level budgets and monitoring performance.
  • Preparation of invoices. Ensure accurate and timely submittal of invoices.
  • Assist with plans and coordination of projects to include proposals, estimating, tracking costs, scheduling, customer interface, bill of materials, ordering of parts, materials and equipment, etc.
Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree and 6-9 years of related experience, including 2 years of leadership experience, or 14 years of related experience, including 2 years of leadership experience.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Experience managing tolling operations, tolling maintenance programs, or transportation technology systems. Prior client-facing experience and leadership responsibility within a tolling or intelligent transportation systems (ITS) environment preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient understanding of system maintenance, procurement and invoice practices
  • Project Management experience to include managing personnel and project financials
  • Skills: MS Excel, Outlook, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet
  • Successfully maintain an active, valid driver's license
