Job summary

TransCore (TCI), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, seeks a Technician I - Preventative Maintenance to join our Orlando team. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation on tolling systems and related field equipment to ensure reliability of customer infrastructure.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
Valid driver’s license required; driving is an essential function.
Ability to operate bucket trucks and work at elevated heights.
Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, networking, computer hardware, and Windows OS.
Strong documentation skills and safety awareness.
Willingness to learn new technologies and to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on tolling infrastructure and field equipment.
Install, service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair customer equipment on site.
Inspect, test, calibrate, and document maintenance activities.
Respond to service calls and alarms within established timeframes.
Maintain accurate reports, logs, and shift communications.
