Job summary

The Episcopal Academy has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Manager who will supervise a staff of four and oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep across our facilities. You will manage daily maintenance, safety, and compliance to keep the campus well-maintained.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.
  • Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SchoolDude or another CMMS and MS Office or Google Workspace.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of campus facilities.
  • Supervise, train, and support a team of four maintenance employees.
  • Manage preventive maintenance, work orders, budgeting, reporting, and scheduling.
  • Develop and implement procedures for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Coordinate repair and installation work and oversee outside contractors and vendors.
  • Inspect facilities regularly, identify issues, and resolve problems promptly.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control maintenance-related expenses.
  • Support campus operations through snow removal, event setup, and event security as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety regulations, and operational standards.

What You Will Do

  • Vocational degree or a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
