Job summary

The Episcopal Academy is seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager to supervise four staff members and oversee installation, repair, and upkeep across campus facilities.

You will manage preventive maintenance, budget and scheduling, and coordinate with contractors while ensuring safety compliance and high-operational standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally in a leadership role.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with CMMS (SchoolDude) and office tools (MS Office or Google Workspace).

Who You Are

The Episcopal Academy has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Manager. Responsible for supervising a staff of four employees, the Maintenance Manager will oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations across our facilities.

• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety regulations, and operational standards.

About You

• Experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally in a leadership role.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to track work, report on activity, and make sound decisions.
• Experience with SchoolDude or another CMMS, plus Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Commitment to staying current with best practices in facilities management.
• Vocational degree or a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license.
