Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the local facility's wash processes, maximize machine efficiency, schedule planned maintenance, and oversee CAPEX projects. You will partner with the General Manager to guide maintenance staff and ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment in McDonough, GA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance experience in high-volume production facilities.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications.
• Background in automation is a plus.
• Experience with large complex integration system challenges.
• Ability to develop and manage project plans with budget.

Responsibilities

• Support preventative maintenance program at the local facility.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling to reduce downtime while maintaining safe work practices.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and provide technical support to facility maintenance personnel.
• Maintain and monitor the PDM system including troubleshooting issues, software updates, and hardware installations.
• Support the General Manager by providing equipment analysis and recommended course of action for efficient and cost-effective machine operation.
• Direct and support maintenance employees to install, maintain, and repair equipment as well as follow good housekeeping practices.
• Monitor machine downtime and train and develop maintenance personnel.

Job description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence of all wash processes, maximizing machine efficiency, scheduling planned machine maintenance, and engaging in CAPEX projects within the service center. Partner with the General Manager to offer guidance and oversight of local maintenance staff to ensure effective maintenance and operation of plant and wash equipment.

salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Support preventative maintenance program at the local facility.
• Coordination of maintenance scheduling to reduce downtime while maintaining safe work practices.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and provide technical support to facility maintenance personnel.
• Maintain and monitor the PDM system including troubleshooting issues, software updates, and hardware installations.
• Support the General Manager by providing equipment analysis and recommended course of action for efficient and cost-effective machine operation.
• Direct and support maintenance employees to install, maintain, and repair equipment as well as follow good housekeeping practices.
• Monitor machine downtime and train and develop maintenance personnel.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications, background in automation is a plus.
• Able to handle maintain and overcome large complex integration system challenges.
• Process development experience and proven record of operational success in balancing cost, quality, and performance
• Ability to develop and manage project plans with budget.
• Documented OSHA safety training and/or accreditation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of previous maintenance experience in a high-volume production, agricultural production, or distribution facility required.
• Experience working with multiple high-volume 24-hour production/warehouse environments required.
• Must be willing to work flexible schedules/hours.
