Job summary

Applied Resource Group partners with a growing manufacturing organization to recruit a Maintenance & Reliability Manager who will lead maintenance operations for a high-volume production facility. This hands-on leadership role drives equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement across the plant.

You will develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, lead RCA, and manage budgets while mentoring maintenance technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in high-speed manufacturing, CPG, packaging, or food processing industries.
• Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing capital projects, maintenance budgets, and spare parts inventory.
• Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.

Job description

We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Maintenance & Reliability Manager to lead maintenance operations for a high-volume production facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving equipment reliability, maximizing production uptime, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance, reliability, and facility operations for a manufacturing plant.
• Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Manage daily maintenance activities while supporting production schedules.
• Oversee capital improvement projects, equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, and new equipment installations.
• Manage CMMS systems, maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
• Lead and develop maintenance technicians through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, environmental, and safety standards.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve plant performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in high-speed manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), packaging, food processing, or similar industries.
• Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing capital projects, maintenance budgets, and spare parts inventory.
• Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
