We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of equipment, facilities, and production systems. This role is responsible for overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, managing maintenance personnel, optimizing asset performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Position Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations Management
  • Lead and oversee all maintenance activities for equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and implement improvements as needed.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians and support staff.
  • Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and training.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support workforce planning and succession development initiatives.
Equipment Reliability & Asset Management
  • Develop strategies to improve equipment uptime and overall asset performance.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring issues and implement long‑term solutions.
  • Coordinate major repairs, equipment upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset documentation.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
  • Lead safety initiatives and enforce safe maintenance practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance efforts.
Budgeting & Resource Management
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, including labor, materials, and capital expenditures.
  • Control maintenance costs while maintaining operational effectiveness.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contractors, and service providers.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels for spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Continuous Improvement
  • Drive Lean, reliability, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Implement best practices to increase productivity and reduce maintenance‑related costs.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve overall plant performance.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing, industrial, processing, or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.
  • Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
  • Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM)
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • OSHA Safety Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance Certifications
