Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Chandler, AZ production facility. You will lead maintenance and reliability initiatives to maximize uptime, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and oversee capital projects in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, experience with PLC-controlled equipment, and a strong background in CMMS-driven maintenance programs, safety compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with equipment reliability programs and preventive maintenance systems.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
  • Experience supporting PLC-controlled equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with CMMS software and maintenance documentation systems.
  • Experience managing capital projects from planning through implementation.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support personnel.
  • Establish and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and production uptime.
  • Drive troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for critical manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Oversee facility infrastructure including HVAC, compressed air, water systems, and other plant utilities.
  • Manage capital equipment installations, upgrades, and maintenance-related improvement projects.
  • Utilize CMMS platforms to manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, equipment history, and asset performance.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets while identifying opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to support production goals and continuous improvement.
  • Implement reliability-centered maintenance practices and equipment performance improvement programs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

A growing advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance and facility reliability functions at a high-volume production facility. This leadership role is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, driving preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives, managing capital improvement projects, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance leader with strong experience supporting automated manufacturing environments and leading teams focused on reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support personnel.

  • Strong experience with equipment reliability programs, preventive maintenance systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Experience supporting PLC-controlled equipment, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with CMMS software and maintenance documentation systems.
  • Experience managing capital projects from planning through implementation.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and maintenance best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within electronics, chemical processing, advanced materials, PCB manufacturing, or similar process-driven manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, FMEA, RCM, or related reliability methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation systems, sensors, and process controls.
