Burkentine and Sons Builders Inc is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair across properties in our operating area. You will manage maintenance requests, coordinate on-call coverage, and ensure timely, cost-effective solutions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or trades education) and HVAC certification, with strong communication skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of high school degree.
• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• An HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.

Burkentine is growing and as a result we are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of high school degree.
• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• An HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• A service mentality and a thirst for learning.
